Race preview
ALWAYS A RAINBOW (2) did not miss a cheque in her initial prep, including a maiden win, and she looks set to progress further this season after finishing runner-up by half a length fresh up at Moree nearly 3 weeks ago over 1400m. She might already want further, but she can take this out. FABS CUZ (1) resumes from a spell for a new trainer, and he will have the blinkers off for the first time. He has been tuned up with a quiet trial, and should be ready to rumble, especially if there is any money for him. MISS DEE REIGN (11) has mixed her form, but she is not the worst in this. VENDOR (6) was in good form prior to his last start at Dubbo, and with the aid of the pole position here, he is worth another chance. Each way. LUKE SKYWALKER (8) was a deserved maiden winner at Quirindi 3 weeks ago, and he skips a grade to be here. He is nicely placed after a 1.5kg claim, and is a top 4 hope again.
