A little history of Cheltenham
Organised racing in Cheltenham began in 1815. The course moved to Prestbury Park in 1831, with steeplechasing established on the present site by the end of the nineteenth century.
What to look for in the form
Cheltenham’s undulations, fences and uphill finish place a premium on rhythm, jumping and proven stamina under pressure.
